BE Series
Self Priming Liquid Ring Bi-Directional Pumps
This is a self-priming liquid ring pump featuring a star-geometry impeller and standard bi-directional rotation. It is driven by a high-efficiency motor designed for continuous-duty operation. Thanks to its specialized hydraulic geometry, the pump can function effectively even when air bubbles are present in the suction liquid.
The pump is IMQ-certified, meaning it has undergone third-party testing to confirm compliance with European and international directives. IMQ is an independent certification body, separate from manufacturers or distributors.
Designed for versatility and reliability, the BE Series is suitable for both fixed installations and mobile applications. With dual-direction rotation and high-efficiency motors, they deliver flexible, energy-efficient performance across diverse applications.
How it Works
The liquid ring pump achieves suction simply by filling the pump body through one of the hose connections. Once primed, suction capacity is available in both rotational directions.
Compatible Liquids
This pump is suitable for transferring clean, non-abrasive, and non-aggressive liquids commonly used in domestic, agricultural, or light industrial settings. Typical examples include:
-
Water
-
Wine
-
Milk
-
Vinegar
-
Diesel
-
Neutral detergent solutions
-
Low-viscosity oils
Viscosity limits:
-
Up to 4 cps for continuous duty with free flow
-
Up to 20 cps for intermittent duty with free flow, under operator supervision
Service and Maintenance
Routine maintenance is minimal and comparable to that of a household appliance:
-
After use: Flush the pump with clean water to rinse internal surfaces.
-
Motor: The electric motor is maintenance-free and requires no lubrication.
-
External cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a slightly damp sponge and dry with a cloth immediately.
ROVER POMPE BE-G 20 SELF PRIMING ELECTRIC GEAR PUMP
What is it
The “G” Series Electric Gear Pumps are designed for the transfer of all common, non-aggressive viscous liquids with a viscosity range (at 40 °C) between 1° Engler (e.g. water, diesel – intermittent use only to avoid overheating) and 7° Engler (e.g. SAE 30 engine oil or SAE 80 transmission oil – continuous use).
These pumps are ideal for transferring clean liquids free from solid particles and are widely used for synthetic oils, mineral oils, water, wine, olive oil, milk, and diesel fuel.
How it works
The gear pump can self-prime liquids up to 2 meters without pre-filling. For higher suction lifts, simply install a non-return valve at the end of the suction pipe and fill the line with liquid before use. To improve priming, add approximately 10 ml of the transfer liquid directly into the pump housing.
For optimal performance:
-
Position the pump as close as possible to the liquid container.
-
Avoid dry running for more than 10 seconds to prevent damage.
-
Always connect the supplied filter to the suction pipe before operation.
-
Operate only with hose connectors attached.
-
When using a dispensing gun, pair the pump with safety valve code 920035.
-
All models support continuous duty up to 2 bar (0.2 MPa).
-
230V models include a switch to reverse motor direction, allowing free choice of flow direction.
-
Battery-powered models rotate according to the polarity of the electrical terminals.
Compatible liquids
The “G” series pumps are suitable for transferring any type of clean, non-abrasive, non-aggressive oils such as:
-
Vegetable oil
-
Synthetic oil
-
Hydraulic oil
Service and Maintenance
Routine maintenance is minimal and comparable to that of a household appliance:
-
After use: Flush the pump with clean water to rinse internal surfaces.
-
Motor: The electric motor is maintenance-free and requires no lubrication.
-
External cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a slightly damp sponge and dry with a cloth immediately.

Marina Series
The Marina Series Electric Pumps are engineered for the transfer of non-aggressive viscous liquids with viscosities at 40 °C ranging between 1° Engler and 7° to ensure proper operation, liquids must be clean and free of solid particles.
How It Works
The liquid ring pump achieves its suction capacity by filling the pump body with liquid through one of the hose connections. The suction function is active in both directions of rotation, ensuring versatile operation regardless of motor rotation.
The MARINA Series electric pumps are equipped with a direct current (DC) electric brush motor, available in 12 V or 24 V configurations, designed for free discharge service applications.
Before performing any maintenance or installation work on the pump, disconnect the electrical cable from the power source (battery, electrical panel, etc.). Electrical connections and remote control installations must be carried out by qualified personnel only. Incorrect installation or poor workmanship can cause serious injury or damage to equipment and property.
Electrical Connection: Use a 2-pole electrical power cable with a minimum cross-section of 6 mm² and a maximum cable length of 3 meters.
To connect the power cable:
-
Remove the top cover of the pump by unscrewing the two crosshead screws.
-
Insert the power cable through the black rubber grommet located on the side of the pump.
-
Connect the cable to the terminal block located in the pump base, ensuring correct polarity.
-
Reinstall and tighten the cover securely.
Key operational guidelines:
-
Always position the pump as close as possible to the liquid source.
-
Never allow the pump to run dry for more than 10 seconds (risk of damage).
-
Always operate the pump with hose connectors installed.
-
A filter must be attached to the suction line before operation.
-
When used with a dispensing gun, the safety valve must be installed.
-
All models operate continuously up to 2 bar (0.2 MPa) max.
-
230V models include a switch to reverse motor direction, allowing selection of pumping direction.
-
Battery models: Rotation direction depends on terminal polarity
Compatible Liquids
The pump is suitable for transferring clean, non-abrasive, chemically aggressive or contain solid particles. Liquids commonly used in domestic, agricultural, and light industrial applications.
Some examples include:
-
Low viscosity oily solutions
-
Neutral fluid detergents
-
Vinegar
-
