Senior Sales Representative

Location: Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

Company: CH Pumps

CH Pumps is seeking a driven, energetic, and trustworthy Senior Sales Representative to join our dynamic team!

We specialise in the supply of high-quality water pumping and transfer equipment across various sectors including Agricultural, Industrial, and Commercial Building Services. The ideal candidate is technically minded, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • 2–3 years’ proven experience in a similar role within the pump or related technical industry

  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge essential

  • Trustworthy and hardworking

  • Technically inclined with a strong understanding of industrial applications

  • Self-disciplined and capable of working independently or remotely

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Computer literate (MS Office; CRM systems advantageous)

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

  • Willingness to travel for client visits and site assessments

  • A proactive, team-oriented approach

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities

  • Service and maintain relationships with existing clients

  • Conduct site visits and technical consultations

  • Promote brand awareness through client engagement and representation

  • Cold calling and lead generation

  • Prepare sales reports and provide regular feedback to management

  • Meet and exceed sales targets

Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable, based on qualifications and experience

Internal Sales Representative & Administrative Assistant

Location: Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

CH Pumps is looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic sales team!

We specialise in the supply of high-quality water pumping and transfer equipment, and we're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values customer service excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Technically minded and enjoys problem-solving

  • Strong interpersonal skills – a team player who enjoys working with people

  • Computer literate

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role (advantageous)

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

  • Strong administrative and time management skills

  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software (advantageous)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist both existing and new clients with product enquiries

  • Prepare, send, and follow up on quotes

  • Contribute to brand awareness and client engagement

  • Oversee and manage workshop-related tasks

  • Perform general administrative and office duties

  • Support financial processes where needed

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
